Baldwin on Ateneo players' deaths: 'I failed as leader, as friend'

MANILA – Ateneo de Manila University basketball coach Tab Baldwin apologized to the school community and the general public, taking responsibility for the drowning that caused the deaths of players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili. In a video statement released on Ateneo’s Facebook page Friday night, Baldwin expressed that he failed to honor the trust placed in him by the families of Baterbonia and Adili.
