
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Francis Pangilinan on Saturday urged the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to file a protest against China for its sanctions against Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. and his family. The senator believes the move targets not just the latter but the Philippines as well. This came after China barred Teodoro and his family from entering Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao and prohibited Chinese entities from engaging in transactions with them.
