
Agriculture Minister Anton Refalo has visited a farmer whose property was damaged following the recent explosion at the Madonna ta’ Lourdes Firework Factory in Naxxar.
During the visit, Refalo met with George, a local farmer who suffered damages to his agricultural land as a result of the incident.
The minister inspected the affected area and discussed the impact the explosion has had on the farmer’s work and livelihood.
In a statement, Refalo said the visit was intended to provide a better understanding of the situation on the ground and to hear first-hand the concerns of those affected.
He stressed the importance of supporting members of the agricultural sector during difficult circumstances and ensuring their concerns are addressed.
Refalo added that the situation will continue to be monitored, with authorities assessing how assistance can be provided to those impacted by the explosion.
