The England national team has been the victim of theft in the US before their first 2026 World Cup match in Kansas.
Training equipment including boots, balls, and others were stolen in Kansas before the team’s arrival at their base on Saturday.
According to the Football Association, vehicles transporting the equipment to the team’s Swope Soccer Village were broken into and several items stolen.
However, it is still trying to ascertain the extend of the theft that happened on Friday.

Kansas City Police also revealed it was already on scene Friday night investigating the incident, and that two suspects had been arrested.
“We are investigating a possible theft of equipment from a team vehicle that arrived in Kansas City with items missing this evening. The investigation is ongoing.”
Despite the theft, the team is expected to begin training on Sunday ahead of their first World Cup match against Croatia on Wednesday.
