WASHINGTON, June 14. /TASS/. The US administration will crack down on illegal activities of organizing the so-called "birth tourism" to obtain citizenship, State Department Spokesperson Tommy Pigott wrote on X.
"Illicit 'birth tourism' networks charge tens of thousands of dollars and coach individuals to commit visa fraud by lying to our consular officers," the spokesperson said.
"We are aggressively cracking down on these fraudulent networks to shut them down," Pigott added.
