Fieldays got close to a record attendance this year, and had the largest opening day crowd in the event's recent history.
More than 132,000 people attended the four day event at Mystery Creek, near Hamilton, which ran from Wednesday to Saturday.
The highest attendance number ever was 133,000 visitors in 2017.
Organisers said attendance was up 20 percent on last year, and exhibitor sites were sold out ahead of the event.
"Fieldays isn't just an event, as this year has proved, it is a national strategic asset that brings together the best of our primary industries in one place," New Zealand National Fieldays Society Chief Executive Richard Lindroos said.
"Fieldays has proven it is a mega event."
"Beyond the numbers, success isn't just reflected in attendance figures, it's seen in the energy on site, the conversations happening, and the genuine connections being made," Lindroos said.
