Niña Ytang proud of first PH stint despite 8th-place finish

CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur — Niña Ytang was proud of her Philippine women’s volleyball team debut despite a disappointing result for Alas Pilipinas in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Women’s Cup. Ytang, who withdrew from the Premier Volleyball League Draft to focus on the national team, was honored to play for the country despite the team’s worst finish at eighth place out of 12 participating nations.
