Bataan diocese mourns loss of 2 priests who died over the weekend

BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Two Roman Catholic priests died one after the other over the weekend due to heart attacks, church and local authorities said.

Fr. Ernie de Leon, 59, parish priest of Hermosa town, died on Saturday morning, while Fr. Tristan Ralf Quezon Pacheco, 43, of St. Joseph Cathedral Shrine in Balanga, passed away on Sunday.

De Leon’s remains lie in state at the Sacerdotal Residencia in Balanga.
