
MANILA, Philippines – Consumers will see a drop in transmission rates in their electric bills this month, according to the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP). In a media briefing on Monday, it said the overall average transmission rates decreased by 9.33 percent to P1.4492 per kilowatt hour (kWh) in May, from P1.5983 per kWh a month ago.
