SC suspends lawyer for 1 year over 'profane' tweet vs Kris Aquino

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Supreme Court has suspended lawyer Jesus Nicardo Falcis III for one year over a vulgar social media post linked to the legal dispute involving television personality Kris Aquino. The case stemmed from a 2018 Twitter post that Falcis made while defending his brother, Nicko Falcis. At the time, Aquino had filed qualified theft complaints against Nicko, her former business associate. In the post, Falcis criticized those who believed Aquino’s allegations.
