
MANILA, Philippines — The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) is now looking into at least seven persons of interest amid the ongoing investigation into the deaths of Ateneo de Manila University basketball players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili.
CIDG director Maj. Gen. Robert Morico II disclosed the updated figure during a press briefing at Camp Crame on Monday.

The CIDG has initially tagged three individuals as persons of interest in the case.
Asked how many persons of interest are now under investigation, Morico replied: “Not less than seven.”
