The US president will attend the G7 Summit in France, where the French president, Emmanuel Macron, said the deal between the US and Iran will be discussed.
Trump and officials in Tehran hailed an immediate end to the war on Iran early on Monday, Australian time, with a deal set to be signed on Friday. Global oil prices have tumbled amid fresh hopes that a US-Iran peace deal may end the greatest energy supply crisis in the history of the market.
But details on key issues, including access to the strait of Hormuz, Iran’s nuclear program and Lebanon, are scant. Read more here about what we know.
