
COTABATO CITY – An offshore magnitude 6.6 earthquake rocked Davao Oriental at 5:18 p.m. Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The state volcanology office traced the epicenter 164 kilometers east of Gen. Generoso, Davao Oriental, and said it was tectonic in origin. It had a depth of 86 kilometers.
