Youth basketball: Cebu Waves top EASL Future Champions Cebu leg finale

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The East Asia Super League (EASL) Future Champions Elite Program capped its eight-week training camp with four developmental squads in the closing tournament on Sunday, June 14, at the Cebu City Sports Institute. Cebu Waves rose to the occasion, clinching the championship after they defeated Cebu Islanders, 62-56, in the final. The grassroots program serves as the inaugural run of the EASL Future Champions Elite initiative in Cebu.
