Cebu OKs additional ₱25M aid for 4 provinces after Mindanao earthquake

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Cebu Provincial Board on Monday, June 15, approved an additional ₱25 million in financial assistance for four provinces in Mindanao recovering from the magnitude 7.8 earthquake last June 8. The additional assistance brings to ₱35 million the total cash aid the Province of Cebu has authorized. During the 17th regular session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, board members unanimously approved four resolutions authorizing Governor Pamela Baricuatro to extend financial assistance to the affected local government units.
