If you’ve been waiting for summer to properly arrive, this week is set to deliver exactly that.
With the official start of summer falling this weekend, Malta is gearing up for a stretch of sunshine, rising temperatures and plenty of beach-worthy weather.
The week kicks off with pleasant conditions and highs of 29°C before temperatures gradually climb as the days go by. By Thursday, the temperatures are expected to hit 33°C, making it the hottest day of the week and giving everyone a taste of what’s to come over the next few months.
Apart from a few passing clouds early in the week, the forecast is dominated by sunshine, light winds and very high UV levels, meaning sun cream will be essential for anyone spending time outdoors.
Temperatures are expected to remain above the 30°C mark heading into the weekend, with sunny skies forecast for both Saturday and Sunday as Malta officially welcomes the summer season.
After a spring that brought its fair share of unpredictable weather, it looks like summer is arriving right on cue.
Whether you’re planning a beach day, a boat trip or simply looking for an excuse to spend more time outdoors, this week’s forecast is offering the perfect opportunity to embrace the season.
