ATM opens internal probe, prosecutors set to open one too

Male staff of Milan transport company

ATM allegedly swapped upskirted images of women's crotch areas

on a WhatsApp chat group, adding sexist comments, one of the

alleged victims has said.

The case was taken up by writer and activist Carlotta Vagnoli

and a number of women influencers on Instagram.

ATM has opened an internal probe.

The alleged upskirting was carried out using the tram's cameras,

the victim said.

Milan prosecutors said they are moving towards opening a

criminal investigation after a number of other cases were

reported.
