Andy Reid knows Travis Kelce is gonna play, play, play, play, play no matter what.

And that's why the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs isn’t concerned that his tight end has been preparing for his upcoming nuptials with fiancée Taylor Swift ahead of the team’s 2026-2027 season.

“Listen, he has been here most of the offseason, if not the whole offseason, he’s been around,” Reid told reporters during a press conference June 12. “It is good to have him here. He did the mandatory camp and did a nice job there, so, good to have him back in and rolling. He’s very excited.”

Noting he hadn’t seen any “distractions” from Kelce, the 68-year-old likened his tight end’s experience to his own nuptials to wife Tammy Reid in 1981.

“It’s like when I got married, my wife did everything,” Reid added, “I just kind of followed her lead on it. Showed up, right? So, maybe he’s doing more, but it looks like he’s pretty focused in on this job, too.”

As for whether the NFL coach had received one of the coveted invites to what is sure to be an epic celebration, he played it coy.

“Can’t talk about it,” Reid hedged with a smile. “Can’t talk about it.”

The Kansas City Chiefs coach is just the next in a long line of friends, family members and celebrity acquaintances of Kelce and Swift’s that has been pressed for details about the upcoming wedding.

In fact, Rhode Island senator Sheldon Whitehouse even recently weighed in on speculation that the special day could occur in the Ocean State as Swift has owned a seaside estate in Westerly since 2013.

“I don’t know about that, I think that she gave Rhode Island a pass,” Whitehouse told TMZ on June 2. “But I hope so, I’d love to have her in Rhode Island.”

There have been, however, a handful of celebrities who have confirmed they’ve RSVP’d yes to Swift and Kelce’s wedding, among them Suki Waterhouse and Graham Norton. Others, like Reid, have played coy, including Rob Gronkowski and Niall Horan.

As for Kelce’s family members, don’t even try to get information out of his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.

“To literally everybody, I know it usually comes from a good place, not always, but quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials,” the 34-year-old—who shares four daughters with husband Jason Kelce—said during the April 2 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. “Nobody’s f--king telling you anything. I don’t have any details.”
