Drivers planning to catch the ferry this evening should brace for delays after Triq Ix-Xatt was closed in both directions near Fuli Kiosk.
According to information sent to Lovin Malta, two large trucks became stuck on the road, with witnesses reporting that the vehicles appear to have collided.
The blockage has effectively cut off access to and from the ferry terminal, with commuters already warning that several ferry crossings are likely to be missed as traffic builds up in the area.
Anyone heading towards the ferry is being urged to plan ahead, allow extra time for their journey and consider alternative routes where possible.
Lovin Malta has contacted the police for information.
