‘Summer House’ Reunion: Why Ciara Thinks West, Amanda’s Relationship Might Work
West Wilson can't take the summer heat any longer.
The Summer House star is leaving the Bravo series ahead of season 11, according to multiple outlets.
News of West's exit—which broke June 15—comes less than a week after the reality show's dramatic season 10 conclusion, in which the 31-year-old was put in the hot seat by ex-girlfriend Ciara Miller over his secret love affair with her former BFF Amanda Batula.
West—who joined the show during season eight—has yet to publicly address his departure. E! News reached out to Bravo for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
Bravo has yet to confirm which of West's costars—including Ciara, Amanda, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Mia Calabrese, Jesse Solomon, Bailey Taylor and Levi Sebree—will be returning, and which house mates won't be invited back to the Hamptons next season.
However, a cast announcement is imminent given that production usually picks up over the Fourth of July holiday each year.
West's decision isn't that shocking given how Ciara verbally annihilated him and Amanda for their betrayal and for causing a massive fracture in the friend group during the season 10 reunion, which concluded June 9.
"Maybe they’ll be together," The Traitors alum predicted at the time, "because I honestly think the best woman for West is someone who's not going to check him on anything, and that's totally Amanda. She's very mute, she's gonna be that weak figure that he needs and he can always be the star in the relationship."
"So," Ciara continued, "I actually think maybe it could work."

And, despite having several weeks to let the couple's newfound romance settle in after their March 31 Instagram statement, the model was still trying to wrap her head around Amanda and West's decision to go from platonic to dating.
"I couldn't fathom that I would be sitting here pissed that you're f--king my ex," Ciara quipped. "He wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last little words in. And I hope it works, because he's with you to spite me."

As for West's lackluster response, he admitted to host Andy Cohen he was on beta blockers to calm his nerves during the savage roasting by his cast mates.
"I'm trying to stay composed as much as possible," he shared during the June 9 episode, to which Ciara fired back with, "Or you're just a sociopath."
After confirming he took prescription medication, he added, "I don't know if that's why I'm not sobbing in this moment. This matters to me. I apologize if I don't read emotional enough."
