
EXCLUSIVE: Actress Kate Beckinsale has signed with Strand Entertainment for management.
Beckinsale has recently appeared in the comedy Fool’s Paradise, marking Charlie Day’s directorial debut, also starring opposite Brian Cox in the drama Prisoner’s Daughter from Catherine Hardwicke, and in the action drama Stolen Girl from James Kent.
The actress made her film debut in Kenneth Branagh’s 1993 adaptation of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and soon after, became a household name, starring opposite Ben Affleck in the Academy Award-winning WWII drama Pearl Harbor, followed by her starring role in the Miramax romantic comedy Serendipity.
Beckinsale next starred in films including The Last Days of Disco, Brokedown Palace, Underworld and Martin Scorsese’s Academy Award-nominated Howard Hughes biopic The Aviator.
Other notable feature credits include starring in Jolt opposite Stanley Tucci and Bobby Cannavale; The Only Living Boy in New York, opposite Jeff Bridges, Callum Turner and Pierce Brosnan; Rod Lurie’s political drama Nothing But the Truth; and Whit Stillman’s Love & Friendship.
For Love & Friendship, Beckinsale won Evening Standard Film and London Critics Circle Awards and was nominated for Critics Choice and Gotham Awards. She was also nominated for a Critics Choice Award for Nothing But the Truth.
On television, Beckinsale starred in the Amazon and ITV limited series The Widow followed by the Paramount+ limited series Guilty Party. She continues to be represented by Kleinberg Lange.
