Love Island USA's Sean Reifel Speaks Out After Leaving Villa
Love Island USA fans' heads were turned by something other than the Islanders' dramatic relationships this week.
The Peacock series—which is currently airing its eighth season—included an apparent onscreen error during the first episode of its weekly recap show, Aftersun, hosted by Summer House star Ciara Miller, 30, and internet personality Tefi Pessoa, 35.
While discussing the love triangles in Fiji during the June 13 episode, Pessoa was animatedly explaining her take when her hand and wrist disappeared in mid-air, seemingly due to a green screen error.
A fan shared a clip on social media and questioned if Tefi and Ciara were really filming together, writing, "im so confused are they not in the same room?" alongside the TikTok's caption, "this season has been so choppy with continuity."
One user agreed with the critique, suggesting, "The editing is so weird this season."
Another user pointed to another apparent flub involving contestant Trinity Tatum—currently coupled up with Bryce Dettloff—during an elimination. "Or when they edited the bonfire scene and used Trinity crying like 20 times," the comment read. "In parts she wasn’t even crying in like hello."
And that's not the only Love Island lore fans have uncovered this season. Past photos of Dettloff and fellow cast member Melanie Moreno's early modeling days have been circulating online.
While Dettloff shared his main job is modeling during the June 2 premiere, the throwback photos showed the 29-year-old sporting skinny jeans and vintage Justin Bieber swoopy bangs on Tumblr—making his image a then-popular choice for 2010s fanfics.

For her part, Moreno, 24, was previously a successful plus-size model who walked the runway for Miami Swim Week and posed for Pretty Little Thing before she became a bikini store manager and pursued a romance with Sincere Rhea on the show.
