
MANILA, Philippines – The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will launch a subsidy program providing ₱15,000 annually to qualified students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) courses. In a statement on Tuesday, GSIS said the subsidy will be available to incoming first-time college freshmen who obtained at least a 90-percent general weighted average in senior high school and are enrolled in identified STEM degree programs.
