
CEBU CITY, Philippines — The families of the two people killed in last week’s fatal collision along the Cebu South Coastal Road (CSCR) in the South Road Properties (SRP) have decided not to pursue charges against the 23-year-old pickup truck driver after both parties reached an extrajudicial settlement, the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) confirmed on Tuesday, June 16. Franco Rudolf Oriol, deputy city director for administration of the CCPO, announced the development during a press conference, saying the agreement led to the driver’s release from police custody.
