Kathmandu. Tribhuvan University's Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), Balkhu, has announced that applications for transcripts and provisional certificates for several undergraduate programs will be accepted exclusively through an online system starting from July 17, 2026.
In a notice issued on Monday, the OCE said students enrolled in four-year bachelor's programs, including BA, BEd, BSc and BBS, will no longer be able to submit transcript applications physically.
Students seeking transcripts or provisional certificates will be required to apply through the student portal available on the OCE's official website. The office has also established a dedicated help desk to assist applicants facing difficulties with the online process.
According to the OCE, applicants will be able to collect their transcripts and provisional certificates from the office within two to three weeks after completing the online application and payment procedures.
To apply, students must create an account on the student portal, fill in the required academic details, and pay the prescribed fee through the online payment system. The application process requires information such as the student's registration number, symbol number, academic session, and program details.
The office said the move is aimed at digitizing services and reducing the need for physical visits to submit applications.
Detailed guidelines and application procedures are available through the student portal and the transcript manual published by the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
