
“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” Season 4 is setting up the iconic friendship between James T. Kirk and Spock.
In a new trailer for the fourth season of the Paramount+ series, Spock (Ethan Peck) says that he has many things (“hopes, dreams, fears”) he wants to talk about, and that Kirk (Paul Wesley) is the one he is meant to share them with.

The fourth season of “Strange New Worlds” will premiere on July 23, with new episodes dropping weekly thereafter through the finale in Sept. 24.
As previously reported, “Strange New Worlds” has already been renewed for a fifth season, which will be the show’s last.
The official logline for Season 4 states, “The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise – led by Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) – embark on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars. As they journey to strange new worlds, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colorful new characters, reunite with familiar faces and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future.”
Along with Mount, Peck, and Wesley, the cast includes Rebecca Romijn, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun and Martin Quinn, along with guest star Carol Kane.
Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Alex Kurtzman, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Alan McElroy, Robbie Thompson, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher, Mount, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.
