
Agentic AI can be useful in cloud storage operations, but its first production role should be read-only investigation rather than auto-remediation. This article argues for giving AI agents access to metrics, logs, traces, deployments, tickets, and topology so they can produce structured incident briefs with timelines, blast radius, ranked hypotheses, confidence scores, and auditable evidence while leaving production changes to human engineers.
