With only a few having sealed slots to the Elite Junior PGT Finals, it will be battle royales in all boys and girls’ brackets as the final leg of the ICTSI Eagle Ridge JPGT Championship determines the last members of the North squad at the Aoki course starting Wednesday.
Two slots each in the 7-10 division of both classes will be contested over 36 holes, as Winter Serapio and Andrea Dee in the girls and Zach Guico and Zoji Edoc in the boys’ group have already collared berths to the Aug. 17 to Aug. 20 event at Pueblo de Oro in Cagayan de Oro.
The battle for the final seats in the 11-14 is also fierce as No. 2 Javie Bautista and No. 3 Ahn Chan are well-positioned next to first finalist Vito Sarines, but would need good finishes this week to seal their slots in the boys’ team.
