West Wilson Leaving ‘Summer House’ After Season 10 Amid Amanda Batula Dating Scandal
West Wilson has delivered his summertime swansong.
One day after it was reported that the sports journalist would be exiting Summer House after three seasons, West made his final appearance on the show in the post-season 10 reunion Aftermath special.
During the June 16 special—which was filmed May 20—the fallout over West and Amanda Batula’s relationship continued, with him having a candid sit-down with Amanda’s estranged husband Kyle Cooke. Upon arriving at Kyle’s apartment, a defeated West acknowledged his "time on camera is over," pointing to the brutal three-part reunion that saw him and Amanda grilled by their castmates—including his ex Ciara Miller.
"The processing and slowing down and letting it all sink in didn't really happen until the last two weeks," West admitted. "I get why my word now is discredited in a lot of regard. But I am here today to have an honest conversation with you."
Kyle didn't hold back in his response, pointing out how the 31-year-old led Ciara on while pursuing Amanda, who is still legally married to the Loverboy founder amid their ongoing divorce. Despite all the hurt and deception West caused in the friend group, he insisted his romance with Amanda is the real thing.
"I'm not gonna be able to sit here on this couch right now and be able to convince you that I'm this changed, perfect person overnight," he confessed. "But I can tell you my relationship with Amanda is the first time I've come from a steady three-year friendship where there's nothing performative about it. Nothing's trying to prove anything."
"I regret so many f--king things, but the one thing I cannot regret is my feelings for Amanda and caring for her," West continued. "I can't apologize for it because it happened."
When Kyle—who confirmed he and Amanda had ended their four-year marriage in January—asked West if he's ready to settle down and finally be in a committed, monogamous relationship, he confirmed, "Yeah, I do."

But does West love Amanda?
"I mean, yeah," he told Kyle. "I really care about her a f--king ton."
And while West acknowledged, "It's hard to say that right to your face," he added, "I hope and I am looking forward to the way I do care and will treat Amanda to lighten the f--king worry you have or the thought that this is just a f--king joke and I don't care about anybody. But that takes time."
While West was coming clean to Kyle, Amanda had her own emotional heart-to-heart with Lindsay Hubbard, who demanded more answers from the couple after the explosive reunion taping. Amanda confessed the attention she received from West amid her breakup from Kyle helped her out of a deep depression.

And, similar to West's admission, Amanda confirmed they have talked seriously about their future together.
"I knew the severity and gravity of the situation," the 34-year-old told Lindsay. "I was like, 'If you really care about me, if what you're saying is true, if this is how you actually feel, this couldn't be casual. You'd have to see a future. You'd have to know I would want to have kids soon.'"
She added, "We haven't talked about having kids, but we've had these conversations."
Still, when all was said and done, Amanda admitted to feeling dumb for how she and West handled everything, to which Lindsay offered one final, hard-to-swallow piece of advice.
"To be honest, you should feel stupid," the 39-year-old shot back. "And the only way to save yourself in this moment is to separate from yourself from the sinking ship that West is. Be the Rose on the Titanic. Let go of the hand. He's gotta go."
Amanda's reply? "I know."
