
LUCENA CITY, Quezon — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and policemen arrested on Tuesday two suspected big-time illegal drug traffickers and seized P680,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Bacoor City, Cavite.
The PDEA-Region 4A said their agents and operatives from the Cavite Maritime Police Station collared “Jerry,” 55, and “Janice,” 43, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambog.

The duo, both residents of the area, was caught in possession of 100 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P680,000 at P6,000 per gram. The law enforcers also recovered a mobile phone, which will be examined for possible records of drug transactions.
The suspects were detained and will face a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /coa
