
MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Appointments (CA) convened on Wednesday as Congress opened its special session called by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., paving the way to act on pending appointments in the Cabinet, military, and foreign service.
The CA meeting comes following a leadership change in the Senate and is expected to take up appointments left pending amid recent developments in the chamber.
