Tab Baldwin, other Ateneo coaches subpoenaed anew by PNP-CIDG

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP–CIDG) has issued another subpoena to former Ateneo de Manila University men’s basketball team head coach Thomas Anthony “Tab” Baldwin and other members of the coaching staff.

“On Thursday and Friday, we’re expecting the coaching staff and others to appear for investigation, particularly Mr. Thomas Baldwin, we have issued another subpoena” CIDG Director Maj. Gen. Robert Morico II announced in a press briefing in Camp Crame on Wednesday.

The move is in connection with the probe into the death due to drowning of two players, Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili during a team building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora earlier this month. / gsg
