A video sent to Lovin Malta shows two people walking across the metal arch above Valletta’s iconic St Elmo Bridge.
The footage was captured by someone aboard a boat in the Grand Harbour, who spotted the pair making their way across the curved arch structure.
The St Elmo Bridge, which reconnects the historic breakwater at the entrance of the Grand Harbour, is one of Valletta’s most photographed landmarks.
In the video, the two individuals can be seen traversing the arch high above the water, creating a scene that left onlookers both impressed and concerned.
Filmed from the harbour below, the footage offers a striking perspective of the bridge and the scale of the structure, with the pair appearing tiny against the backdrop of Fort St Elmo and the surrounding coastline.
As for why they decided to take the scenic route across the arch instead of the bridge itself, that’s anyone’s guess.
