Claudine Barretto, Pepe Herrera kiss at 'Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion' premiere

Claudine Barretto and Pepe Herrera surprised fans who attended the premiere night of “Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion,” after the actors kissed on the lips at the theater.

Barretto and Herrera were among the cast members present at the premiere night held at a mall in Mandaluyong on Monday, June 15.

In the clips shared online by those who were also at the event, the actors were initially interacting with the moviegoers then later locked lips in front of them. The kiss was followed by a longer smooch, then a dip kiss.

In the movie—which is the sequel of the hit TV sitcom “Home Along Da Riles”—Barretto reprises her role as Bing Cosme while Herrera plays a new character named Baby Boy. The two portray a couple in the film.

In a separate post on Herrera’s Instagram page, he spoke about how he enjoyed the film’s premiere night.

“What I love the most after watching ‘Home Along Aa Riles: Da Reunion’ yesterday is the energy of the theater after the credits. I felt the love in those last few scenes. Love of my Family. Love of my Friends. Love of God,” he said.

“Excited ako sa susunod na pupuntahan ng kwento. Excited din ako bumalik sa province life. Thank you Lord,” he added.

Also part of the reunion film are original cast members Nova Villa, Vandolph, Boy2 Quizon, Gio Alvarez, Maybeline dela Cruz, Dang Cruz, Jenny Salimao-Quizon, and Cita Astals.
