CEBU CITY, Philippines — PMI Bohol Boxing Stable prospect Angilou “Pinoy Ali” Dalogdog faces the biggest test of his career on June 19 as he heads to Indonesia to challenge an undefeated hometown fighter for a regional title.
Dalogdog, 29, of Tagbilaran City, Bohol, will square off against unbeaten Indonesian Aser Kewas for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Asia flyweight title in a stacked fight card featuring 19 bouts.
The bout also marks a significant milestone for Dalogdog as it will be his first professional fight outside the Philippines. He will put his record of 11 wins against one loss, with four knockouts, on the line against Kewas, who brings a perfect slate of 10 victories, seven of them via knockout.

Dalogdog is aiming for a statement win as he looks to fully bounce back from his lone defeat to Albert Francisco in their Philippine flyweight title clash in Manila.
He rebounded with a win over Dennis Gaviola last December in Naga City, south Cebu, but is still seeking a more convincing return to form.
Before the setback, Dalogdog had built an unbeaten 10-fight run, which was halted by Francisco via a 10th-round technical knockout.
Kewas, 25, has yet to face a Filipino opponent. All of his victories have come against fellow Indonesians, although he holds a notable win over Andika “D’Golden Boy” Hae.
Hae previously fought under the PMI Bohol banner and faced the stable’s top boxer, Regie Suganob, in a bout held in Dimiao, Bohol in 2022.
Dalogdog and his trainer, Romnick Hoybia, have already arrived in Indonesia ahead of schedule to fine-tune their preparations for the title fight.
