Malta turned up the volume last night as legendary rock band Scorpions took over the MFCC in Ta’ Qali for a concert that brought decades of rock history to the island.
The German rock icons delivered a set packed with some of their biggest hits, including Wind of Change, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You, No One Like You and Send Me an Angel, with fans singing along to every word.
With a career spanning more than 50 years, Scorpions remain one of the most successful rock bands of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide and performed on some of the biggest stages across the globe.
That same energy was on full display in Malta, as the MFCC was transformed into a full-scale rock arena for an evening that celebrated one of music’s most enduring acts.
Fans from across Malta gathered to witness the performance, with many taking to social media to share videos and photos from the concert.
For one night, Ta’ Qali became the centre of the rock universe, and Scorpions proved exactly why they continue to fill venues around the world more than five decades after they first burst onto the scene.
Did you rock on last night?
