When Mile the pony was rejected by his mother at birth, his owner, Andjelka Josipovic, decided to take him in. Each night she carries him up to her fourth-floor flat in the Croatian town of Rovinj.

Mile spends his days on a ranch but needs regular feeding and attention during the night. Josipovic hopes that after a few weeks he will be strong enough to stay on the ranch full time
