Show and Tell
Never ones to shy away from provocation, Lunny and Macieira-Boşgelmez brought along a large print-out of now-trillionaire Elon Musk.
To the Stage
Macieira-Boşgelmez, Lunny, and Collings head through the venue’s Pierogi Room to the stage.
Love of the Game
Frontwoman Phoebe Lunny was full of energy from the second she hit the stage.
Wall of Death
The band issued many calls to open up the pit, and the crowd always happily obliged.
Woman of the People
By the third song, Lunny was already in the crowd dancing with her fans.
Stop Oppression
Lambrini Girls have always been very poltically outspoken. The immigrant-rights group Hands Off NYC was the featured organization of the evening, with a table set up next to the bands’ merch booths, where small Palestine flags were also handed out.
We Got the Beat
Touring drummer Samantha Collings, who’s from D.C., has been keeping Lambrini Girls on time for this run of shows, which included a stop at Bonnaroo and one in her hometown for Warped Tour. (She also recently filled in behind the kit for Irish rock band Cardinals, making her this spring’s indie/punk band MVP.)
Special Effects
Macieira-Boşgelmez tinkers with her pedals.
Full Steam Ahead
Macieira-Boşgelmez took some time off from the band’s intense touring schedule last year for personal reasons, and just a few months ago, Lunny dealt with an injury that postponed a number of tour dates and an anticipated Coachella appearance. Despite those setbacks, both members are now fully engaged and ready to take on the world.
Do You Like… Trillionaires?
Lunny and Macieira-Boşgelmez introduce their “friend” to the audience.
Show Us How You Feel!
After Lunny opened up what may have been the widest mosh pit ever seen at Warsaw (one fan said the only thing that came close was Mannequin Pussy last year), the whole crowd rushed in to let the world’s richest foam cutout know how they really felt about wealth disparity.
Tear It Up
Mr. Musk did not last long in this crowd.
Keeping Rhythm
Macieira-Boşgelmez never stopped laying down the grooves.
Get Low
During their last song before the encore, “Cuntology 101,” the girls asked the crowd to get as low as they could, before inviting everyone to jump up and dance.
Crowdsurfer
Macieira-Boşgelmez takes her turn in the crowd.
Leaving It All Onstage
After a raucous and sweaty time, the show came to an end after an encore featuring the band’s 2024 hit “Big Dick Energy.”
