Don't wait for Amazon Prime Day

If you love coffee, it's a good idea to keep a stock of certain essentials to make sure you're always ready to brew. Depending on how you prefer to prepare your drinks, having a stock of filter papers, descaling liquid, and cleaning tablets will ensure you're never left in a lurch, and your best coffee maker stays clean as a whistle.

Normally I'd recommend waiting until Prime Day (running from June 23 to June 26) to bulk-buy these products, but Amazon is already offering huge price cuts — and unlike the official Prime Day deals, you don't need to be a Prime member to grab them.

Here I've put together a collection of key coffee-making essentials for your kitchen. Personally I'm planning to pick up a new set of coffee spoons (which always mysteriously vanish), plus a tea tray or two for the TechRadar office. No more juggling multiple mugs on the way back from the coffee machine. As a Brit, I also recommend grabbing some shortbread cookies as an addition to your coffee break. Whether you share them with your friends or not is up to you.
