EXCLUSIVE: Singer-songwriter and actor Tunde Adebimpe has expanded his representation with UTA. Long repped there for music, he’ll now also be repped for film and television.
Onscreen, Adebimpe is known for roles in Rachel Getting Married, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marriage Story, Twisters and the series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. He’s otherwise best known as co-founder, co-vocalist and principal songwriter of Grammy-nominated rock band TV On The Radio.
Emerging from New York City’s early-2000s art-rock scene, TV On The Radio is known for albums including Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes, Return to Cookie Mountain, Dear Science and Nine Types of Light.
Adebimpe released his first formal solo album, Thee Black Boltz, via Sub Pop last year. He first developed his artistic voice through visual mediums, studying film at New York University before beginning his career in stop-motion animation, with work on projects like MTV’s cult favorite Celebrity Deathmatch.
Adebimpe continues to be represented by Zoë Blilie of TMWRK.
