Jelly Roll’s Wife Bunnie Xo Shares Cryptic Posts Amid Breakup

Jelly Roll is getting by with the help of his friends.

Days before news broke that the "Need A Favor" singer had filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, he shared he was battling an infection that ultimately landed him in the hospital—and how tourmate Post Malone showed up for him during the difficult time.

"I went to the hospital last night in Charlotte," Jelly Roll said in the June 11 TikTok. "Shoutout to that whole hospital. They literally got me on my feet for the show. I had a puffy face and all. It was just bad, dude, the sinus infection was bad."

While the Grammy winner (real name Jason DeFord) is on the mend, his infection did have an impact on the duo's Big Ass Stadium Tour, as he was only able to take the stage for the June 9 show for his own songs.

"It's the first night as long as I've been touring with Post that I didn't get to come out and sing 'Losers,'" he explained. "I just barely got through my show. The next night, he sends me a big flower bouquet and goes, 'Get well soon, Mofo. Love Ya.'"

"When I say on stage every night that Post Malone is the nicest human in the world, y'all, I'm not making that up," he emphasized. "He's the most rockstar dude I've ever known, that's the most normal dude in the world. I love you, Posty!"

Jelly Roll recounted his hospital stay just days before it was confirmed that he and Bunnie had broken up. The musician filed for divorce May 18, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason, according to legal documents obtained by E! News.

As the exes navigate their breakup, Jelly Roll—dad to kids Bailee, 17, and Noah, 9, from previous relationships—wasn't taking time away from his tour. In fact, he performed in Toronto on June 15, one day after news broke.

Although neither he nor Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) has publicly addressed the filing, he did perform at the CMA Fest nearly two weeks earlier without a ring on that finger. Meanwhile, the Dumb Blonde podcast host shared a cryptic Instagram Story of herself in lingerie before the news dropped, writing, "She's getting her sparkle back."
