Vodafone Australia's mobile network has crashed, potentially affecting millions of Australians.
A statement from the company said it was aware some customers could be experiencing "intermittent issues" with its service and it was urgently investigating.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible," the company told ABC News.
"We will provide an update as soon as possible.
"We recommend customers power cycle their device to restore services."
The mobile provider's own Network Status Checker displayed a "502 Bad Gateway" message midway through Thursday morning, but has since been brought back online.
Customers reported Vodafone stores in Australia were also affected by the outage, and calls by the ABC to several stores returned messages that their numbers were not connected.
Vodafone is Australia's third-largest mobile network operator, behind Telstra and Optus.
In addition to direct subscribers, its network is used by customers of TPG, iiNet, Internode and Lebara.
As of February 2025, the network provided services to 5.4 million customers across Australia.
