The Rupandehi Police has carried out search operation for the people missing from different places of the district with high priority. Out of 108 complaints filed in the District Police Office from May 15-June 14, 61 people were found and handed over to their families. Thirty children, 48 women and 30 men went missing during the period, according to police.
Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rupandehi, Krishna Kumar Chand, said out of 61 people, 18 are children, 29 women and 14 men. Similarly, additional nine people who were in the search list from mid-December 2025 were also found in recent period and handed over to their families.
They are two children, five women and two men, added police. Chand added additional police personnel have been mobilized to make search and rescue operation for the missing people effective in the district.
