(NewsNation) — Meghan Markle is making her long-awaited return to the U.K. with her family for the first time in four years.
Markle, Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will touch down in England in July to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham, according to The Telegraph.
Harry, who has been open about wanting to visit the U.K. with his family but worried that without government-provided security he wouldn’t be able to bring Meghan and the kids, has been assured that protections will be in place during their visit.
There was no word on whether King Charles would meet with Harry and his two grandkids.
The last time Charles saw Lilibet and Archie was in 2022, when the family was in the U.K. for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Duke of Sussex told friends he was “excited” for his children to meet with their grandfather, The Telegraph reported.
In September, Harry and Charles reunited in person after a year and a half apart.
Harry was pictured arriving at Charles’ London home, Clarence House.
