Jessica Alba, Cash Warren's Daughter Honor Heading to Yale After High School Graduation
A mother's love is sweeter than honey.
Look no further than Jessica Alba sharing a rare glimpse into life as mom to her and ex-husband Cash Warren's 8-year-old son Hayes.
"Mi amor," the Honey actress wrote on Instagram June 18. "Hayesie -being a boy mom to this incredible little dude … what a gift."
Along with selfies of her and Hayes, she included a self-portrait he drew at school, a clip of him moonwalking in a checkered pajama set and an adorable throwback photo of Hayes as a baby.
For Alba—who also shares daughters Honor, 18, and Haven, 14, with the film producer—parenthood has been more fantastic than she could've imagined. In fact, she reflected on the honor while celebrating Hayes' birthday earlier this year.
"Time has flown by, yet it has paused on so many beautiful moments with you," she wrote on Instagram in January. "Watching you grow into the coolest lil dude ever has been one of the greatest experiences of my life."
Alongside a montage of memories over the years, she detailed Hayes' personality.
"You take pride in being kind and doing well, which makes my heart swell," she continued. "I love your quick wit with your sisters, your competitive nature—kicking my butt in UNO on the regular—and your desire to always play and have fun."
The 45-year-old—who is now dating Danny Ramirez—also revealed her most cherished memories with her youngest child.
"My absolute favorite moments have been our sleepovers and nighttime cuddles, filled with your musings of the day and questions about life," she added. "Also, our lazy morning cuddles with hot chocolate for you and coffee for me, watching a movie we didn't finish the night before."
When it comes to being a boy mom, Alba previously admitted that it's had a learning curve.
"This guy, he just runs non-stop, and he just wakes up and he's on the go," she told E! News in September 2023. "He's not self-conscious at all and I love that about him. But then he still has that tender side and likes to cuddle. I love it, I love every second of it."
As for what motherhood has looked like when it comes to Honor and Haven?
"I feel like I'm constantly learning from them, just how to be more connected to my feelings on an ongoing basis because they both need such different things from me," Alba explained. "I think empathy and compassion are things you learn—you can't learn enough."
