Sudden death in Waikato's Tokoroa overnight investigated by police

The sudden death of a woman in Waikato's Tokoroa is being investigated by police.

Police were called to an address on Hinau St just before midnight on Thursday, Taupō Area Investigations Manager, Detective Senior Sergeant Ryan Yardley said.

The woman died at the scene, Yardley said, and cordons were in place in the immediate area.

Yardley said police were investigating what happened, and there were no concerns for public safety.
