
The new national pageant Reina Filipinas has set a deadline for applications on June 30, but is making its call for aspirants ahead of it on June 24.
“Join us for the Grand Call for Candidates and take the first step toward representing your community on the national stage,” the pageant organization posted on social media, with several reminders for the on-site activity.
The event will take place at 42 Scout Borromeo in Quezon City on Wednesday, June 24, at 3 P.M. “FOLLOW THE GRAND JOURNEY,” Reina Filipinas added.

Those who are interested are advised to come in a “clean ponytail,” and must only have light, “natural” makeup with a “nude” lip color. The post also provided a styling peg for the nude “active wear” that the ladies must wear, along with their pairs of pageant heels, preferably Jojo Bragais Shoes.

Reina Filipinas also issued a reminder to the applicants who will attend the grand call: “Arrive fully dressed, styled, and camera-ready.”
Applicants must bring their passport or any valid government-issued ID, their best set card or portfolio photos, and should prepare a “grand” introduction.
Reina Filipinas will choose the Philippines’ delegate to the 2026 Miss Grand International pageant, and two more ladies who will be sent to the second edition of MGI All Stars.
To be eligible as Miss Grand International Philippines, one must be a female Filipino citizen between 18 and 35 years old, must hold a valid Philippine passport, and at least 5-foot-4 in height.

To qualify as Reina Filipinas’ candidate for MGI All Stars, one must be a Filipino citizen between 20 and 40 years old, may be a cisgender or transgender woman, at least 5-foot-4 in height, and has competed in an international beauty pageant but has not won any major international title.
“Applicants from Visayas, Mindanao, and other areas who are unable to attend in person may still submit their application through our official Google Form until June 30, 2026,” Reina Filipinas said.

It added: “Make sure to carefully read the complete requirements and screening guidelines before applying.”
Reina Filipinas was launched on June 10, with reigning Miss Grand International Emma Tiglao as national director and Jojo Bragais as the organization’s president.
Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil will also be an “executive partner” of the national pageant organization. He attended the launch together with MGI All Stars winner Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia.
