The temperature is set to soar over the next week, reaching over 30C in parts of the UK, so if you don't already have a fan handy, this is the time to grab one. Thankfully you don't have to pay a lot for something powerful enough to keep you cool, and here I've rounded up a collection of 11 great options ranging from £39.99 to £99.99.

Yes, you can find cheaper fans on Amazon, but I've been careful to only pick models from brands that I trust, or that I've tested myself. For example, the cheapest model here, the Dimplex Desk Fan, is currently sitting right beside me while I work. It might look simple, but its four power modes pack a real punch, it's rechargeable so you can carry it anywhere, and it folds down flat when not in use.
