Like a burst dam, Lotlot de Leon turned emotional as she directly confronted her brother Ian de Leon for allegedly spewing lies on national television about the supposed inheritance left by their mother, the late Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor.
Speaking at the story conference for her new movie “40 Days,” Lotlot lashed back at Ian, whom she addressed directly as she denied allegations that she and their other siblings — Matet, Kenneth and Kiko — were after whatever properties Aunor had left behind.
Lotlot was referring to Ian’s interview with “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” wherein he said that his siblings were duly informed of the plans to form a one-person corporation (OPC) to handle Aunor’s legacy. The OPC is headed by Ian as legal heir, but his adoptive siblings were excluded.

“Enough! Enough with the lies! Tajimik ako, tagimik si Matet, si Kiko at si Ken. Wala na kaming sinasabi, and then you go out of a TV show and tell everyone na sinabi mo sa amin, which is not true,” she said.

“And it pains me so much kase tinuring ko syang… inalagaan ko sya bilang kapatid. Binilin sa’kin ng nanay ko,” she further said as she started to tear up.
Before her outburst, Lotlot apologized profusely to film director Louie Ignacio, and the other cast members, namely, Dina Bonnevie, Snooky Serna, Elizabeth Oropesa, Lloyd Samartino, among others, for taking over the event to address the allegations.
Lotlot, the eldest of the de Leon siblings and children of Aunor with ex-partner Christopher de Leon, further recalled that on the 40th day of their mother’s death, she approached Ian to ask if he would be willing to form a corporation to properly preserve Aunor’s legacy.
She said that she did not do this for herself, but because she wanted to continue her mother’s advocacy of helping the needy.

She also belied allegations thrown at them that she and the other adoptive siblings were after Aunor’s inheritance.
”Mana? Wala namang mana. Ang naiwan lang ay yung mga lupa sa Bicol… at kung mayroon man, sa kanya na lahat. Wala kaming hinihingi. He can have it all. Sapat na sa akin na matawag kong mommy si Nora Aunor, na mapalaki ng isang Superstar,” she said.
