Woman caught on CCTV kicking £75k McLaren supercar on owner's driveway

A woman walked onto a man's drive and repeatedly kicked his £75,000 supercar in a random act caught on home CCTV footage.

Gareth Edwards, 33, called the attack on the McLaren 570S at his home in Bush Hill, Pembroke, "shocking behaviour".

The bonnet of the car was left with two scratches that he estimated would cost up to £300 to get fixed professionally.

Dyfed-Powys Police said it had "received a report of criminal damage to a motor vehicle" and was investigating.

The footage, recorded by Edward's home security system on the morning of 16 June, shows a woman walking with a shopping bag on the pavement outside his home, before turning up a drive and kicking the front of a parked yellow sports car.

He said he noticed the incident about 10 minutes after it happened at 08:45 BST.

"I was just shocked," he said.

"It's very strange, such a weird thing to do."

The painting and decorating business owner said he "didn't think there were people like that in the world today".

He said the woman's kicks caused scratches that would cost "between two or three-hundred-pounds to put right".

Edwards added he has had to keep the car out of view by leaving it at a friend's house while he goes on holiday.
